I thoroughly enjoyed your interview with Sheila Anderson. Harlem River Drive is a long time favorite. I look forward to discovering more of your work.

October 20, 2017

Hello Miss Humphrey

I discovered your music when I was an 18 year old Airman in 1975. "Blacks And Blues" was the LP and Harlem River Drive was my favorite (although I enjoyed the entire album and still have it in my collection). The sirens at the end of the song always sent the unsuspecting listener into panic mode while indulging in other activities....LOL!!!I am 60 years old now and, though I no longer indulge in those activities [27 years and counting], I still include that song in my playlist.

I just wanted to say HELLO and I hope that you are doing well. Take care and God bless you.

I am totally elated to know that Ms. Bobbi Humphrey is still sharing her gift! I am also happy to know more of who she is and how she got to where she is today. Thank you for being you and for your willingness to share your gift with the world! (Side note) I played the flute in High School and remembered trying to play like Ms. Bobbi. All I could think was, "How the hell does she do it?!?!" and I knew then, I was not destined to be a Flutist (LOL!!!). So, I stuck to dancing and to enjoying those who are blessed to play like they do! Blessings to Ms. Bobbi!!! Flute-on!
